Australian Homeschool Community Software Plan Policy

Australian parents who choose to homeschool their children can participate in the Community Software Plan (CSP) in much the same way as families do in the formal school system. This will give them access to the greatly reduced CSP pricing.

The CSP is essentially a bulk purchase plan and as such, requires the lodgement of consolidated orders on behalf of a group of parents. It is usually administered through traditional schools, however, EdAlive will deem a group of homeschooling parents as a school for CSP purposes. A minimum of 15 products must be ordered to qualify for CSP pricing.

Follow these steps to conduct the CSP with your homeschool group:

  1. The homeschool group nominates a parent to act as co-ordinator.

  2. The co-ordinator contacts EdAlive by calling and asking to speak with the CSP co-ordinator. Alternatively, if you would like to register online, please click link below after reading the rest of the policy.

  3. The homeschool group is registered and a sufficient quantity of CSP leaflets (one for each family) is requested. Co-ordinators will be required to nominate a Return Date for orders to be received by themselves. EdAlive will stamp this date onto the leaflets before sending to the co-ordinator.

  4. Co-ordinators then need to decide how the orders will be distributed. If orders are not able to be hand-delivered, but need posting, EdAlive recommends adding an appropriate postage and handling fee to each order, approximately $10.

  5. The co-ordinator distributes the leaflets within the homeschool group.

  6. The co-ordinator collects the orders, collates them and then places the consolidated order with EdAlive, including payment. Please send single cheque/money order.

  7. Orders are then packaged up at EdAlive and sent to co-ordinator who distributes them as convenient (either by hand or through the mail).

What people are saying about EdAlive products

I studied full-time last year and will be at university for the next four years. I tried to teach myself to touch back in 2007, when I didn't know where any keys were located on the keyboard. I probably typed at 1 word per minute! With my full-time study last year, I was on the computer all the time so I decided to practice typing with Typing Tournament - only a few times a week - and now I type about 34 words per minute. I feel so blessed by your program as it is much better than others I have been recommended. Now I recommend this to others like me, usually mature age students. I also tell them about your other programs, as they're all available at such an affordable price!
